106: Episode 106 – Robert the Doll - Campfire Podcast Network

In 1904, the grandfather of an eccentric Florida artist, Robert Eugene Otto, purchased a doll at a caravan in Germany. He brought the doll home with him to Key West and gifted it to the young boy. It wasn’t long before young Gene’s parents began observing bizarre incidents with their son and the doll. Overheard conversations with two participants, and strange small footsteps coming from the upper floors of the home. They would even come to say that they could occasionally perceive changes in expression on the face of the devilish doll. Over the next 40 years, the boy would develop an undeniably unhealthy attachment to what most would consider a plaything and over the following century, the paranormal community followed suit. Join us as we explore the legend of the supposedly cursed object, Robert the Doll.
