In 1967, George and Helen Ackley, along with their four children, moved into their dream home in Nyack, New York. This stunning eight-bedroom Victorian was built in the first decade of Nyack’s existence with a gorgeous view of the Hudson River. Little did they know, they would go on to forge a working relationship with the ghosts of their home that would last more than two decades. This week, we’ll tell their story and get to the bottom of why it has become essential curriculum for first year law students all over the United States. With a name like the Ghostbuster Ruling, we’re left with only one question.
